Position Details:

You will help implement product pricing, collect the needed quantity of high-quality inputs to support pricing decisions, analyze pricing inputs and outcomes- identifying the pros and cons to support final pricing decisions.

 

You will report to the Senior Manager, Category Pricing.

 

You Will:

  • Implement and maintain product pricing for a portion of the Grainger Product Assortment
  • Collaborate with partners including Merchandising, Supplier Management, Cross Reference Services, Marketing and others to collect and maintain the needed amount of high-quality inputs to price the assortment
  • Perform analytics on pricing scenarios and present the pros and cons for each
  • Monitor the Industrial/MRO Market Environment and identify Macro trends that would indicate the need for a pricing action
  • Learn about the products in our assortment, our customers and how our customers use those products

 

You Have:

  • BA/BS or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of analytical experience: Excel (can perform complex functions),Teradata, SQL
  • Experience using technical skills to draw insights from large amounts of data
  • Experience working in teams with dynamic, analytics-driven, multi-channel work environments
  • Systemic thinking skills
  • High-level knowledge of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) industry and industrial products a plus
