Primary Function
Drive profitable revenue growth by providing superior service to the Sale organization in their efforts to secure appropriate Customer Specific Pricing (CSP) in response to quotation requests. Incorporate Grainger’s strategic direction, profitability goals and supplier capabilities in creating competitive quotation responses while demonstrating Grainger’s values and performance drivers.
Main Duties & Responsibilities

Receive and respond to incoming quotes requests via CSP quotes system and phone channel routing to meet and exceed minimum daily quality response expectations.

Exercise solid business judgment in making critical, high-impact financial pricing decisions and create CSP to maintain a competitive posture in the marketplace while driving profitable revenue growth.

Analyze provided data and collaborate cross functionally with various internal and external partners to ensure complete understanding of the customer’s needs in order to help execute the most appropriate pricing strategy.

Secure, and apply vendor cost support commitments where appropriate, and obtain cost support documentation for submittal to Contract Administration team for rebate collection.

Achieve and maintain superior service for the Sales organization through different avenues of engagement in the quotations process (e.g., phone, email, IM).

Reinforce contract compliance when quoting against broad-based and complex contracts (e.g., WSCA, E&I, GSA, USPS, various State-Wide and Corporate contracts, etc.)

Activate pricing in the Quotations system following submittal of quote requests or renewals and respond to Sales partners with a sense of urgency.
Education & Experience

English proficiency (Speak, Read, Write) are required.
