Primary Funtion

As an HR Operations Specialist, you will support talent and enterprise business processes, including requisition creation, offer management, interview scheduling, processing hires and transfers, coordinating onboarding activities, implementing organizational changes, processing terminations and audit activities.

 

Hours of Operation are between 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the role; you will report to a Supervisor, HR Operations, and will be located in Panama City, Panama. The role is considered hybrid with virtual and onsite expectations.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administer benefits and talent programs, including background checks, relocation, employee referrals, educational assistance, unemployment, employment verifications, assessments, ad hoc benefit programs.

  • Administer technology support such as loading and troubleshooting data loads, updating communications, loading courses, managing cohorts.

  • Support CI projects by identifying and implementing changes to HR processes and policies.

  • Identify trouble spots, customer service issues and gaps in service and raise recommendations to close those gaps.

  • Work with all levels of leadership and team members.

 

Education & Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in related field or applicable work experience.

  • An understanding of HR and talent processes.

  • Experience with Microsoft products (teams, outlook, word, and excel) is required. Additional preferred experience in ServiceNow or other case management systems, and/or SuccessFactors (Core Employee Central, Talent, Recruiting suites) would be a nice to have.

  • Ability to thrive in fast paced/high volume environment, strong written and verbal communicator, strong attention to detail/organization, and continuous improvement mindset.

  • Experience establishing relationships with internal/ external customers, business partners, and colleagues.

  • Customer service experience.

  • Excellent project management, event planning, and facilitation skills.

  • Experience improving processes and create work efficiencies.

  • Technical abilities to navigate and update systems and tools.

  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996) of all personal, payroll or sensitive data in all interactions
