Position Details:

Reports To: Sr. Manager, Digital Performance & Optimization  

Primary Function: 

You will lead direct reports in managing their projects, while taking responsibility for monitoring project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), overseeing the testing of site modifications, and conducting analysis on both operational challenges and technical data issues. 

  

You Will:

This position includes responsibilities for managing a team. 

  • Be a subject matter expert on web analytics data 

  • Establish meaningful financial and operational metrics that are informative, actionable, and aligned to our goals.  

  • Develop accurate reporting utilizing a variety of analytics tools and data sources.  

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis using web analytics data to answer business questions  

  • Work with Product Managers to understand project goals, develop measurement plans, and establish reporting framework  

  • Define clear, measurable site optimization test outcomes and KPIs, configure reports and dashboards to monitor test progress, analyze results, and communicate outcomes and recommendations  

  • Partner with Analytics Operations to troubleshoot analytics bugs, resolve data issues and perform root cause analysis. Collaborate with the Data Science team to enable work frame and approach projects from diverse analytical perspectives. 

  • Provide guidance and expertise on site optimization and influence product roadmaps. 

  • Manage a team of 1-3 analysts. 

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, finance, marketing, or related field.  

  • 8+ years of business experience, 5+ years of experience in digital analytics 

  • 1+ years’ experience managing a team 

  • Expertise with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau, web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics 

  • Experience debugging analytics implementations with developer console or browser plugins 

  • Experience with SQL 

  • Expertise with test design and statistics and experience implementing website tests 

  • Ability to work independently and develop strong relationships with business partners.
