Zoro Tools, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Data & AI in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science or related field plus 12 years experience. Prior experience must include: Recommend, build, and scale genAI solutions to improve organization’s productivity and end-user experience in an e-commerce or marketplace; Develop and implement ML models and algorithms, with a focus on optimizing for multiple variables with set constraints; Build, mentor, and scale high performing engineering, analytics and ML teams; Design and build scalable AI systems on cloud, ensuring robustness, model performance, reliability and latency; Architect and build customer or consumer data platforms that work in real time; Utilize familiarity in setting up AI/ML systems in any cloud solutions like GCS, Azure or AWS environments; Utilize advanced experience with big data query languages (SQL, Spark), scripting languages (Python, R) and CI/CD solutions (CircleCI, Github Actions, Jenkins). Up to 60% remote work allowed. Up to 5% domestic or international travel required.

 

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $220,320.00  - $338,640.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
