Primary Function:
Zoro is looking for a passionate, driven individual to join the high energy, hyper growth Zoro organization as a Sr. SEO Product Manager. 


This position will own frontend and backend SEO-specific technology that drives’s organic competitiveness, and will manage that technology like a digital product. 


Zoro is going through unprecedented growth in its product assortment and website. Addressing scale-related SEO challenges with technology-oriented solutions will be the name of the game for viable applicants.  


This position will work closely with Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Product Management, Marketing and other key Zoro Stakeholders in order to plan, execute, build strategy, and create value. This role will be highly visible with direct lines of communication into  director/VP level leadership across Customer Experience and Marketing, ensuring that the SEO product strategy matches the overall strategy for the website and the company.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy, set the vision, and plan a holistic roadmap for a portfolio of SEO-centric frontend and backend technologies that power 
  • Work with your product team to identify the highest impact work, prioritize that work, and deliver improvements in a measurable way.
  • Identify, develop, and deliver results by building and improving Zoro’s SEO capabilities.
  • Create and foster a test and learn approach to evaluate and iterate product experiences in order to continuously deliver business & customer value
  • Develop deep knowledge of search engine, customer, and business needs along with an understanding of the SEO competitive landscape.



  • At least 6+ years experience in eCommerce, Product Management, Digital Marketing or related fields
  • Direct experience with SEO for enterprise-level, eCommerce sites greatly preferred
  • Detailed understanding of the role of the Product Owner in the Scrum framework. CSPO certification is a plus
  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience with the Atlassian software suite, especially Jira and Confluence software, or other enterprise-level delivery and workflow software
  • Excels at communicating with team, partners, and senior leadership with clarity, salience, and urgency
  • A track record of building exceptional products that delight users and produce clear business impact.
  • Experience with SQL and Python are nice to have 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; MBA is nice to have
  • If remote, may require travel to Chicago 1-2 times per quarter for strategy sessions, workshops, and customer-facing activities
