Sr Digital Media Specialist, Zoro (remote)

Primary Function:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Media and working closely with cross-functional teams, the Senior Digital Media Specialist will lead paid social initiatives and assist with other channels under the digital media umbrella including organic social and programmatic with the goal of driving engagement, awareness and  qualified site traffic. This position requires in-platform experience, a curiosity to learn other display platforms and data analysis skills for reporting, optimization and testing. 


 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop paid social media strategy including tactics, targeting, and formats to drive audience growth, engagement, site visits, awareness, and key marketing objectives
  • Ensure that all campaigns are optimized towards performance metrics and have a clear definition of success ahead of campaign launch 
  • Own campaign set up (Facebook, LinkedIn, Sprout Social etc.), monitoring, and performance
  • Have strong curiosity to learn programmatic advertising to assist with campaign trafficking (e.g. create tags in ad server, campaign set up in DSP, building segments), delivery, and optimization 
  • Utilize best practices and customer segment analytics to highlight the right products, categories and messaging in partnership with choosing the best ad formats and channels to achieve goals
  • Collaborate with content marketing, organic social, and integrated marketing to develop strategic alignment 
  • Assist with creative planning across channels under digital media and work with creative services team to provide thoughtful direction on creative assets 
  • Drive testing plan to optimize paid social strategy and action on results from previous tests 
  • Help brainstorm testing for programmatic (e.g. audience, format, frequency, bidding, etc.)   
  • Develop comprehensive reporting of paid social campaigns to understand trends and drivers of success and support organic social and programmatic reporting (e.g. monitoring dashboards, monthly reconciliation etc.)  
  • Manage relationship with various stakeholders to gain consensus and drive deliverables, even in the face of ambiguity
  • Develop and maintain optimization log to keep track of tactics and settings that affect campaigns 
  • Stay abreast of industry news and develop working relationships with vendors to stay updated on products/features and develop POVs
  • Document and communicate the status of projects and meeting notes with relevant stakeholders
  • Present strategy updates in team, department and/or company meetings 

 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience executing social media or display media campaigns in a self-serve capacity   
  • Bachelor's degree or related professional experience
  • In-depth knowledge of social media best practices and keeps up to date on evolving product offerings/tools
  • Display understanding of the functionality and best practices of major social platforms 
  • Understand optimization levers, audiences, pixels/tagging, and basic understanding of feeds for dynamic campaigns
  • Strong implementation experience in Facebook Ad Manager with platform experience in LinkedIn, Sprout Social and Google Analytics 
  • Nice to have basic understanding of programmatic display landscape 
  • Strong ability to measure performance, synthesize and translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing external vendor relationships to drive consensus on projects and goals 
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Google Suite tools
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to project manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail 
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
