Position Details:

Reporting to E&R Industrial's Controller, you will be an integral part of E&R’s finance team and complete the closing of the monthly financial statements in addition to support the business teams with additional and ongoing reporting and analysis.

You Will:

• Complete monthly closing process, supporting internal business and corporate financial requirements. This includes closing the financial system, posting necessary journal entries, performing appropriate analysis, and preparing schedules that support monthly packages. Perform monthly financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure that financial statements represent the financial performance. Work with Finance management to complete the required narratives and prepare supporting documents. Prepare supporting documents for quarterly tax audit packages and yearly business audit packages.
• Track and maintain Capital Investment and Fixed Assets.
• Prepare and file monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Sales and Use Taxes.
• Work with Financial analyst to support Ad Hoc analysis of P21 Data Warehouse.
• Be financial liaison for system support and ledger maintenance. This includes both E&R and Grainger financial system ledger system.

You Have:

·       B.A Degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA a plus.

·       Experience in financial data analysis, minimum 2-3 years.

·       Strong financial data analytical skills

·       Strong teamwork and relationship building skills.

·       Solid understanding of accounting principles.

·       Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics applications.

·       Knowledge and use of Epicor or SAP financial system a plus.

·       Experience in distribution a plus.

·      Ability to work 3 days a week in the office
