Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $101,300.00 to $168,900.00.

Position Details:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, GIS Consulting and have responsibility for executing consulting engagements through the development of strategies and solutions for customers that increase revenue and shareholder value. You will have incremental Grainger sales generation responsibility as it relates to facilities maintenance and cost savings methodologies / documentation. Additionally, you will assist customers with indirect materials supply chain consulting consisting of eCommerce strategy development, Grainger product / service solution assessment / strategy, technical integration and documented cost savings including baseline development. Identify opportunities to reduce costs related to procuring indirect materials while increasing sales through reduced operating expenses and improving cash management as related to MRO. Engagements will use our value proposition; as well as products, solution and service capabilities, i.e. Managed Inventory Solutions.
You Will:
- Promote sales growth through indirect materials supply chain consulting within facilities maintenance, cost savings documentation and MRO optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with customers on their MRO procurement strategies and then lead the strategy and required implementation efforts to deliver the total solution.
- Identify / define specific business strategy for reducing supply chain costs for customers through MRO solution and services as it relates to Grainger offerings and products.
- Provide market and customer intelligence to Grainger as result of deliverables and analysis.
- Promote the external demand for our product and service solutions helping Grainger increase revenue, decrease cost, and shorten cycle time of revenue growth from contracts, improve contract compliance, such as cost savings documentation.
- Develop cost savings methodologies and deliverables for Customers.
- Manage the change management process with implemented customers to ensure adoption of new strategies and accelerate revenue generation.
- Develop important business processes in support solution development.
- Evaluate important business / market relationships that help Grainger to position solutions, services and products to our customers.
- Use project management skills and expertise to lead successful implementations.
You Have:
- College degree required with advanced degree ideal.
- Project management skills – experience managing customer teams, projects, deliverables and facilitation.
- Conceptual skills that display the ability to move a business concept/issue into a mutual opportunity based on enterprise capabilities.
- Direct experiences implementing new concepts within an existing business or industry.
- Demonstrated success solving problems and facilitating supply chain consulting deliverables.
- Knowledge of Internet based / eCommerce related technology and business models
- Knowledge of indirect materials / maintenance management / MRO.
- Prior success in presenting new strategies, ideas and concepts in understandable ways to clients, and manage conflict/disagreement and focus differences of opinion in purposeful directions.
- Travel: 40% – 60% on average
