Position Details:


The Branch Manager is responsible for all customer service-related operational goals and integrated support of sales strategies. Ensures execution of the Customer Service function's strategic goals of "Wow the Customer", "Navigate Customers" and "Cost to Serve". This is to be accomplished through best practices in the areas of talent management, customer service, sales growth, and cost to serve. Manages and executes branch operations aligning actions to support profitable results. Leadership: Owns the business and engages driving empowerment and being a role model who helps people link their work requirements to the success of the company. You will report to the Sr. Area Manager, Branch Network.



Location: The position is located in Las Vegas, NV and relocation assistance may be available.



You Will:


  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for a single or multi-site staff consisting of hourly and exempt employees.
  • Communicate sound strategy to the team and create an environment where employees are engaged, empowered, enthusiastic and committed to the success of the company.
  • Build culture to benefit from diverse thoughts and ideas.
  • Write and conduct performance review discussions to ensure that goals are monitored and accomplished.
  • Help develop Assistant Branch Manager(s) by providing coaching opportunities.
  • Make sound, fact-based decisions to support the goals of the business.
  • Talent Management: Ensures essential people drivers of Selection, Onboarding, Coaching and Rewards & Recognition are accomplished and support the Grainger Employee Promise.
  • Establish a professional development plan for each employee to aid their performance and career progression within Grainger.
  • Interview and select diverse talent with competencies that align with the Grainger Service Promise.
  • Understand the competitive landscape, its impact on the local market and gain market share and avoid loss of current market share.
  • Improve customer satisfaction results using monitoring and other available tools.



You Have:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience building complete marketing plans applying all resources.
  • Demonstrate program management success.
  • Have project management, planning, and facilitation skills.
  • Help align cross-functional work groups to develop integrated plans with the Branch Network and Sales.
  • Experience with channel marketing or business development.
