The Grainger Telesales Campaign Associate is responsible for executing sales campaigns to customers over the phone. The TCA will be given a campaign objective and provided with a list of accounts that have minimal existing relationship with Grainger; the primary function of the TCA will be to call the customer to execute each campaign.  The customer base is exclusive to Grainger’s medium-sized customers, and the work of the TCA is important to growing Grainger’s sales and relationships with these customers. 


Position Responsibilities:

  • Job is an individual contributor and has no direct reports.
  • Initiate outbound sales calls (up to and beyond 100 per day) to Grainger customers to execute campaigns.
  • Execute campaigns designed to sell new programs, promote cross-category purchasing, and grow the customer contact base.
  • Understand campaign objectives, seeking additional information from Supervisor where needed.
  • Use judgment and problem-solving skills to navigate to appropriate customer contacts on each call.
  • Have effective customer conversations when executing campaigns.
  • Keep detailed tracking and reporting on campaigns in CRM system.
  • Use additional tools as provided.



  • High School Diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years  of experience, with customer relationship experience preferred.
  • Cold calling, telemarketing experience required.
  • An assertive & persistent personality, high energy level and resilient character.
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly build rapport by phone with all levels of professionals.
  • Flexibility to quickly adjust to rapid campaign changes.
  • Strong desire to win and enjoyment of competition.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Desire for coaching and personal growth.
  • High business ethics and integrity.
