Position Description

Primary Function:
Responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the company's enterprise risk program including operational and strategic risks. Develops Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks. Assists in the creation and evolution of the enterprise risk management framework.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 

--Responsibilities are split evenly between leading Supply Chain Internal Audits and leading the Enterprise Risk Management program for the company.
--Establish and ensure the organization's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, controls and strategic imperatives of the organization.
--Leads efforts to analyze, quantify, and communicate enterprise-level risks to senior leadership and the Board of Directors
--Developing and maintaining a Model Risk Management program which include program design, governance structure, implementation and operation of a full Model Risk Management program
--Timely completion of all assigned Supply Chain audits
--Performing and/or coordinating additional modeling and analysis around Key Risks
--Tracking the reporting of emerging risks and events, and ensuring follow up, creation of action plans, and adjustment of policies, processes and procedures as necessary
--Serves as a key driver of common risk framework and tools to identify, communicate, monitor and mitigate strategic and operational risks
--Communicates information regarding business risks with functions across the organization as well as a be a key resource for the business units and shared services to identify and monitor merging risks, risk mitigation plans and changing risk landscape
--Create and maintain appropriate risk measurement tools including an annual risk inventory and periodic updates driven by strategic changes or annual surveys
--Train and educate the organization on Internal Controls
--Manage Internal Audits Quality Assurance and Issue Repository
--All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

Preferred Education & Experience: 
--Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field required
--Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA or other relevant certification) highly preferred
--MBA degree preferred

Work Environment:  
--Ability to travel an estimated 5 to 10% per year
--Reports to Sr. Director of Internal Audit & ERM.
--Manages a team of 5. 
--Peer Relationships with divisional and corporate management, other managers, directors, vice presidents.

Influences processes at both the business unit and enterprise level and leads and sets the agenda for risk management deliverables. Responsible for partnering with the enterprise and business units to assess, quantify, aggregate, and mitigate exposures through the identification of key and emerging risks and evaluates alignment with risk strategy and appetite. Accountable for monitoring the risk and control environment and consults on risk mitigation plans to ensure that exposures are kept at acceptable levels. Leads cross-functional teams to achieve objectives across multiple business units or Centers of Excellence.

--External - Business partners, process owners, executive stakeholders
--Internal - Senior auditors, Staff auditors , Audit Director and Audit VP.
