Grainger Management LLC is seeking a Sr Engineering Business Analyst in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Health Care Administration, Management, or related field plus 5 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: Create BPML process flows and system integration services using IBM B2B Sterling Integrator. Develop and load EDI/Non-EDI and EDIFACT maps into ERP systems using Sterling Map Editor. Configure services and adapters (sFTP, HTTPs, AS2, File System, LWJDBC, CommandLineAdapter2) for seamless integration with ERP, CRM, and external systems; Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI transmission and translation issues across Gentran and Sterling Integrator (v5.2 to v6.2). Provide production support for all EDI-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption; Support all testing phases (FUT, SIT, UAT), develop test cases and scenarios, and maintain comprehensive technical/functional documentation. Contribute to SDLC by estimating effort, designing POCs, and tracking performance and application health; Perform EDI analysis based on business requirements, automate/improve existing systems, and create partner profiles using frameworks like Remedi, Lightwell, and custom tools. Collaborate with developers to ensure design compatibility and support QA/testing with internal teams for smooth operations. Up to 60% remote work allowed.

 

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $117,957 to $154,900 which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
