Zoro Tools, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or related field plus 3 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Develop automated deployment scripts to provision isolated Apache Airflow environments per Git feature branch, ensuring environment-level separation of DAGs and configurations using cloud composer and GKE; Design and implement secure SFTP data ingestion solutions integrated with GCP storage and orchestrated via Airflow; Configure and deploy Cloud Composer environments to use cross-project shared VPCs and enable identity federation using workload identity and impersonation chaining; Implement multitenant data platform infrastructure with scoped IAM policies, service accounts, and namespace-based isolation on GKE. Up to 60% remote work allowed.

 

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $109,000.00 to $142,200.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
