Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $132,400.00 to $220,700.00.

Position Details:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager to lead a team focused on accelerating the delivery of scalable, reliable, and value-driven data products across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our data platform by driving engineering excellence, standardization, and enablement at scale.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a leader who is passionate about modern data engineering practices and platform maturity. You will guide a team focused on foundational platform patterns, enablement, and data product maturity—driving secure, governed, and cost-optimized data solutions that power analytics, AI, and business innovation.
You will:

Define and champion best practices for data product development by establishing a clear “paved road” approach, supported by comprehensive training and accessible documentation.

Standardize and streamline existing solutions to reduce duplication, improve consistency, and promote reuse across teams and domains.

Develop and deliver platform capabilities that empower teams with tools, reusable frameworks, and features aligned with our data platform standards—enabling secure, scalable, and sustainable development.

Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to support the execution of large-scale, high-impact data initiatives.

Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Partner with product owner(s) to influence data platform roadmap.

Partner with engineering teams, business teams and MLOps to guide AI/ML requests to recommended solution.

Lead a team of data engineers that leverages modern engineering practices to build configurable, scalable data pipelines and data platform features.

Drive execution of engineering roadmap to mature enterprise data products in partnership with platform, architecture, and engineering teams.

Lead development team in troubleshooting, coding, testing, implementation, and documenting solutions.
You have:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
-
10+ years’ experience in Software Engineering or Data Engineering

A strong track record as an Engineering Manager or technical team leader guiding multiple squads or a program.

Hands-on background building data platform features and data product enablement.

Excellent communication and stakeholder skills across engineering, product, design, and analytics.

Deep understanding of SDLC best practices, CI/CD, testing strategies, and system design fundamentals.

Ability to navigate ambiguity, set clear priorities, and deliver consistently in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Growth mindset with a coaching orientation; you build inclusive, high-trust teams.

Experience recruiting, onboarding, and retaining engineering talent in blended teams (FTEs and partners).
