Position Description

The Senior International Tax Manager purpose is to lead our international tax strategy function, lead strategic tax programs including being an important  partner for global treasury and international finance projects, manage foreign tax and US tax compliance requirements, lead all transfer pricing strategies and compliance requirements, lead tax aspects of foreign M&A, create tax administration policies and strategies to assist us in carrying out our international goals. You will also support our foreign businesses, oversee international tax related ASC 740 and APB23 reporting, and lead international and federal tax planning. You will report to VP, Taxes.

You will:


  • Identify, propose and project manage tax strategies for international activities and local operations that maximize our tax opportunities and comply with our obligations to local governments.
  • Lead strategic transfer pricing policies. Create a cohesive international transfer pricing strategy and use the use of core Company information to reduce the cost of local transfer pricing compliance.
  • Lead international tax reporting and compliance such as GILTI, FDII, BEAT, 163(j), foreign tax credit and other international tax positions.
  • Ensure compliance with our local tax reporting and tax payment requirements in all foreign jurisdictions.
  • Align foreign ownership structure to maximize foreign tax credit availability to US by (1) simplifying ownership structure, (2) make opportunistic tax elections.
  • Lead international audit for IRS exams and provide audit support for foreign tax audits.
  • Lead international tax provision process, including uncertain tax positions, APB 23 on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Lead international tax M&A projects.
  • Partner and lead tax with global treasury, finance and legal programs.
  • Identify and lead international tax planning.

Position Requirements:

You have:

  • CPA certificate
  • Ten or more years of US international tax experience which includes experience in M&A, transfer pricing concepts, researching US and foreign issues, and planning cross border transactions.
  • Knowledge of US tax compliance requirements related to ownership of foreign businesses
