Compensation

This position is hourly. The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $104,500.00  and  $174,200.00

Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.

Position Details

The Senior GPO Manager will report to the Regional Sales VP and will be accountable for business performance that is consistent with our strategic direction. Expected to increase drive profitable growth by designing and implementing the Healthcare segment contract portfolio growth strategy, and Group Purhasing Organization (GPO) strategy. Will work to define the strategy and drive solutions consistent with the overall segment’s needs and strategic direction. Make sure everything is in place to ensure effortless customer service for our GPO partners and end customers. You will meet financial objectives through development, management, mentorship, contract execution and promotion of relationships between Grainger and our aligned GPO partners.

You Will

  • Align our goals and facilitate barrier removal for indirect channels.
  • Facilitate agreements, contracts, RFP responses and statements of work.
  • Determine channel product and service capabilities and agreement to RFP's
  • Conduct high level business reviews and related processes with stakeholders
  • Communicate strategy and goals to field leaders while being liaison between cross-functional stakeholders
  • Grow GPO executive relationships to lead contract compliance, expansion and to ensure Grainger becomes the organization’s primary MRO provider in both product and services.
  • Provide functional direction and personal involvement with the GPO to support the Field in the planning, reach and barrier removal.
  • Negotiate, maintain, and implement profitable agreements, both with the customer and field-based sales resources and Grainger resources.
  • Develop and implement standardization and consolidation programs that ensure revenue, cost and profitability targets are achieved.
  • Responsible for comprehensive market analysis to determine segment focus areas and develop overall short-term and long-term segment strategies.
  • Provide leadership in Change Management methodology within the company and throughout the customer's organization.
  • Provide expertise to internal partners establishing an understanding of needs, attitudes, and behaviors across segments and develops relevant insights that grow customer engagement and demand. While working to ensure that the GPO strategy and solutions are in place and implemented.

 

You Have

  • Bachelor's Degree BS/BA required
  • Master's Degree MBA preferred
  • 10+ years Previous Sales team leadership with 10+ yrs. professional experience required
  • Deep understanding of and experience with healthcare marketplace, partners and government policy impact.
  • Operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment.
  • Influence external environment and leadership levels across Company, Associations, Customers, Resellers and related markets.
  • Proven track record of establishing relationships inside and external to Grainger -Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Financial acumen/ ability to manage budgets and understand financial models.
  • Experience winning large complex contract negotiations and realization.
  • Travel within the US minimum 50%
