Grainger Management LLC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 5 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Establish and build processes and structures based on business and technical requirements to channel data from multiple inputs, route appropriately and store using any combination of distributed (cloud) structures, local databases, and other applicable storage forms as required; Perform root cause analysis on all processes and resolve any production issues and validate all data and perform routine tests on all the Interfaces and provide support to all applications; Design and develop Profitability models by loading detailed data about company’s accounts, customers, Sales, relationships and activities into the Data-warehouse and created various Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Macros, User defined functions (UDF), Cursors and Triggers to analyze profit contribution for each of the items (Invoice, Customer, Material); Design and develop scalable and reliable ETL/ELT data pipelines and product frameworks by utilizing the leverage of multiple programming languages (Python, Unix, Sql, PL/Sql) and architecting and implementing very large-scale data intelligence solutions around Data Warehouse.
