Position Description

The Recruitment Marketing Specialist will develop, update, and coordinate the company’s online recruiting presence to drive enhanced awareness of Grainger as an employer of choice. This individual will be focused on our internal and external stakeholders to support a cohesive recruiting strategy that enables talent acquisition and hiring leaders to attract, retool and mobilize top talent.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and execute recruitment marketing projects, which include online community management and   social media campaigns
  • Maintain and provide ongoing support and content for Grainger and recruiting partner career sites
  • Create & maintain a talent acquisition social media campaign calendar
  • Publish online content to support University Relations and Strategic Alliance events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Corporate Communications, Legal and Marketing to align on brand standards in execution
  • Work with external vendors on project execution and optimization
  • Prepare and provide recruitment marketing reporting, performance reports, analytic reporting & data analysis and provide insights and action items based on findings
  • Act as a brand ambassador to promote hot jobs, recruitment events and Grainger news to support Employee Value Proposition
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to support Grainger’s team member advocacy program
  • Partner with Digital and Offline Marketing channels for recruitment marketing campaign activation
Position Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, HR or related field preferred
  • At least 3 years experience in marketing, recruitment marketing and/or social media
  • Demonstrated program or campaign management experience including Facebook, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  • Knowledge of social media technologies, trends and innovations
  • Experience with web analytics tools
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work with cross functional teams to ensure implementation of online marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
  • Abilyt to multi-task with solid organizational and project managerment skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Proven ability to articulate point of view and influence with key stakeholders
