Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $65,900.00  to $109,800.00.

Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.

Position Details

The procurement operations team focuses on creating seamless and efficient procurement experiences through best-in-class processes and industry-leading practices. The Procurement Operations Analyst plays a key role in supporting strategic initiatives by collaborating cross-functionally with Grainger stakeholders and suppliers on creating seamless procurement experiences. The role applies comprehensive knowledge of Grainger's indirect procurement processes, programs and policies to address operational support requests, using end-to-end critical thinking and judgement to deliver solutions. With a focus on continuous improvement, contributes to the refining procurement standards and processes by applying practical insights and collaborating cross-functionally.



You Will

  • Apply working knowledge of Indirect Procurement Process, Policy and Programs and applicable financial principles to resolve indirect procurement operational issues.
  • Provide guidance to internal and external partners to support the achievement of desired outcomes while ensuring adherence to standard procurement processes, procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support program objectives and communicate updates or changes.
  • Create reports and analyze operational data to help identify trends and outliers, providing actionable insights to leaders in support of strategic decision-making and alignment with our Strategic Framework.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by applying practical insights and helping enhance procurement standards and processes with a customer-focused approach.
 
You Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or equivalent experience Required
  • 2+ years experience in Supplier Management, Operations Management, Logistics Management or related experience Required
  • Experience analyzing procurement-related operational data using tools such as Excel (including pivot tables and slicers), Power BI, or similar platforms to identify trends, outliers, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally across all organizational levels to solve operational challenges.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities with competing timelines.
