Process Management Analyst - Cost Management & Execution

Primary Function:

The Analyst leads select functions which support the daily productivity and profitability of the Grainger product portfolio. The role is responsible for consistent execution of departmental processes while ensuring their standardization, optimization, and continued review for improvement.  


  • Serve as subject matter expert for processes including, but not limited to:
    • Product Cost Changes
    • Supplier Funds Recovery
  • Help develop and maintain cost management processes through cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for analyzing and interpreting moderately complex, less clearly defined issues.    
  • Execute and deliver on standard processes within defined service level agreements.        
  • Establish and regularly evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement.             
  • Identifies problems and possible solutions and takes appropriate action to resolve. 



Principal Duties and Responsibilities:  


  • BA/BS or equivalent preferred.        
  • 1-3 years of experience in related field preferred.

This position can be based in Lake Forest or Chicago post pandemic
