This role typically is located in Lake Forest, IL., Tempe, AZ., Janesville, WI., or Waterloo, IA., but due to COVID-19 will be fully virtual until further notice. Once the office site has a return to work plan, the team member will be required to be on-site.



Primary Function

The Planning Analyst will own the analysis and relationships associated to the overall workforce management strategy. This position will be well versed in short-term forecasting, scheduling optimization, and proficient reporting skills needed to face various problem-solving situations.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • This individual will own and maintain short-term forecasts and schedules driving effective results and achieving service-level commitments
  • Provides analysis and recommendations across varying levels of management to improve resource utilization and performance.
  • Partners with workforce management analysts to achieve intra-day service performance objectives.
  • Facilitates Shift Bid Process to ensure schedule optimization.
  • Meets with supply chain partners to discuss the proactive planning strategies and recommends effective resource optimization.
  • Identifies Continuous Improvement opportunities in daily work, providing recommendations on how to support and implement solutions.
  • Acts as a liaison in supply chain processes and documented contact center policies to build relationships across the enterprise.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management in quantitative field (economics/mathematics/business administration) or relevant work experience
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in analysis with an emphasis in logistics and/or forecasting/planning.
  • 2 to 4 years+ in data analytics, project management or related field
  • Proficient Working knowledge of Workforce Management Systems, including Verint, Aspect, Genesys
  • Working knowledge of SAP Supply Chain Suite, particularly Advance Planning & Optimization a plus.
  • Intermediate Proficiency in Access, Excel, and Word.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience utilizing workforce optimization tools and processes
  • Experience within contact center environment preferred and proven ability to build relationships cross-functionally.
  • Must be able to provide clear and concise recommendations in a rapidly changing environment
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills across multiple levels within the organization, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and escalate unresolved problems or questions
  • Strong technology literacy skills to assist in the understanding of systemic architectural routing and network systems
