Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $101,300.00 to $168,900.00.

Position Details
The Cross Referencing Team provides the ability to identify Grainger products for customer opportunities, allowing for sales of those products to customers. The Manager, US Cross Referencing Service provides overall direction to the US-based Cross Referencing team, translating company strategies into departmental goals. Responsible for supporting the ongoing development and refinement of the overall cross referencing strategy and providing analysis of financial results and the impact of implemented processes on the business. Utilizes team knowledge to collaborate with business partners on maximizing conversion of Cross Referencing opportunities and implements automation and enhanced ease-of-use within the Cross Referencing process to support the business and provide just-in-time response.
You Will
- Support overall direction for the Cross Referencing Team, specifically overseeing the US team members, based on company strategy by determining areas of focus and building the goals for the team to align to the Cross Referencing and company strategies.
- Coach and develop Cross Referencing Supervisors and Senior Analyst to manage daily team operational workflow, including implementing policies and procedures, monitoring and addressing attendance and performance issues, and conducting Performance Management reviews and individual coaching
- Lead development and implementation of processes for US Cross Referencing team, while partnering cross-country with Canadian and Panamanian leaders to ensure alignment, and continually ensure processes meet the need of the current business environment
- Partner with Sales leadership across all functions to resolve Cross Referencing-related issues, gather partnership feedback, and implement process improvements with Sales top of mind
- Manage and measure results of Cross Referencing activity, including team metrics and productivity management
- Interface with Merchandising and Pricing teams to utilize results to address product cross referencing issues, share information, and develop future strategies to meet the needs of the changing business.
- Establish and monitor team productivity and performance measurements in key areas, such as: cycle time, quantity of records cross referenced, and qualitative measures of teamwork and Sales support effectiveness.
- Lead the direction for providing training and professional development of team members
- Partner with the IT team to improve machine learning approaches to automated matching, prioritizing feedback from end-users and Cross Referencing Quality Control team members, while balancing quality and productivity
- Contribute in the development of department goals and expectations
You Have
- 3+ years of experience in related field Preferred
- Prior leadership experience
- Strong Communication, organizational time-management skills required
- Ability to identify and address organizational barriers to ensure that employees can perform their jobs to their full potential as well as continue self-development.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, become competent in, and effectively apply new processes and applications as well as lead change in an environment of rapidly evolving technologies
- Strong coaching skills, with ability to motivate, inspire, and achieve results through others.
- ability to lift <25 lbs.
- Travel Requirements – 10%
