Position Details:

Reporting to a Manager of Internal Audit, the Internal Auditor will assist with financial, operational and compliance audits. Throughout the audit process, the Internal Auditor will review and test the design and effectiveness of internal controls for a specific portion of an assigned audit and identify the need for recommendations and process improvements.

You Will:

  • Assist with a variety of audits following audit programs through the application of established procedures
  • Attend kickoff and closing meetings.
  • Assist in preparing the agenda and will lead certain meetings
  • Utilize audit techniques to document and determine the effectiveness of internal controls (i.e., interviews, observation, flow charting, compliance and substantive testing).
  • Identify risks in a given process
  • Adapt to changes or new information that arise in the audit process, and willingness to recommend audit program updates to address these changes
  • Identify audit concerns and communicate to the audit team and business stakeholder(s)
  • Document audit work papers and audit findings, including recommendations resulting from an audit
  • Adhere to and maintain detailed project timelines

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Demonstrated communication skills that establishes credibility and confidence
  • Natural curiosity and can overcome challenge with a collaborative and optimistic attitude
