Position Details:

The HR Analyst impacts the employee experience and lifecycle within aligned Grainger departments. Reporting to a Vice President of Human Resources the HR Analyst works with a team of aligned HR Partners, to help guide the continuous improvement of reporting, analytics, and interpretation of all HR data for employees in the supported population. You will support Human Resource Partners while enhancing operations across cycle events and HR strategic programs. You Will:

  • Pull and analyze workforce data including compliance, retention, headcount, diversity metrics and performance data
  • Identify information in analysis to help develop HR projects
  • Produce standard and ad hoc reporting using multiple HR systems
  • Work with Human Resource partners and teams to support their goals and identify process improvements
  • Collaborate with other Analysts and Center of Excellence to evaluate and enhance current processes and methods for reporting team member data.
  • Lead data integrity projects to maintain high reporting standards and data cleanliness
  • Provide recommendations to support the long-term HR strategy and ongoing engagement projects for the business
  • Support cycle HR events such as talent reviews, calibration sessions, annual compensation review, engagement surveys, re-organization of teams and impacts

You Have:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft suite• Experience with Power BI or data visualization techniques
  • Experience with SAP/SAP Success Factors
  • Developed conclusions and communicated results from large or disjointed data sources
  • Success using data to develop solutions and strategies
