Grainger Management LLC is seeking a GTG Development Program - Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 1 year related experience. Prior experience must include: Perform data integration and data pipeline development with SQL, Snowflake and Python; Research, implement, test, and validate machine learning and deep learning algorithms with diverse Python libraries and cloud-based platforms; Utilize  statistical, probabilistic, and data mining skills, along with Natural Language Processing techniques, for model development, validation, and deriving insights; experience with generative AI models focusing on large language models, including techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering; Collaborate and communicate highly technical topics effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences through data visualizations and dashboards. Up to 60% remote work allowed.

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $93,974.00 to $184,100.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
