Compensation:

 

This position is hourly, and the starting pay rate is $29.50/hour.

Grainger is recruiting for 2026 Summer Internships in Early in Career (EIC) Talent Acquisition at our Lake Forest, IL location. The EIC TA Internship Program is a full-time, paid, 10-week program designed to provide college students with practical experience in talent acquisition. The EIC TA Intern will gain broad exposure to key business functions while supporting strategic and operational initiatives in Early in Career Talent Acquisition.  

 

You Will:

 

Grainger's Early in Career Talent Acquisition Internship Program is designed to provide college students with opportunities to enhance their technical and transferable skills in Talent Acquisition through business-critical project work. You will be involved in different activities including a comprehensive onboarding program, structured development sessions, Meet and Greets with executive leaders, peer mentorship, fun social events and more. You will report to the EIC Talent Acquisition Manager. As a team member you will gain: 

 

  • Experience seeing a business-critical project through from start to finish  

  • Common projects include: improving the candidate and business partner experience in the recruitment process, determining where AI and automation can be used to drive efficiency, evaluating our school strategy through ROI analysis 

  • Broad Exposure to key stakeholders and leaders across the organization. 

  • Develop technical skills with tools such as SmartSheets and Power Automate 

 

You Have:

 

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher 

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university and working towards a bachelor's degree 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to fast-paced environments. 

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective partnerships. 

  • Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027  

  • No visa sponsorships required now or in the future
