Grainger Management LLC is seeking a Data Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Applied Economics, or related field plus 4 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Prior experience must include: Data Pipeline Development: Utilize Python, SQL, Airflow and Amazon Web Services S3 to design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines to Extract and Load (ETL) processes to efficiently process over 10GB of data daily; Data Transformation and Standardization: Utilize Python, SQL, Airflow and Amazon Web Services S3 to transform and standardize data, ensuring consistency and usability across various systems, while handling over 1 million records daily

; Data Architecture and Modeling: Design and implement scalable, secure data architectures and models for automated data solutions, leveraging Python, Amazon Web Services S3, and SQL databases to optimize data flow and storage; Stakeholders Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the data science and analytics teams, as well as business stakeholders, using Jira to streamline communication and project management, ensuring data solutions are aligned with organizational goals and projects. Up to 40% remote work allowed.

 

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $122,177.00 to $168,900.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
