Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $65,900.00  to $109,800.00.

Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.

Position Details

The Analyst, Customer Information oversees daily operations for the Customer Information Strategy & Enablement team and understands cross-functional workflows between departments. Key responsibilities include automating routine tasks, assisting stakeholders in leveraging Customer Information for strategies and campaigns, improving Customer Information through innovative logic and analysis, and driving troubleshooting and technical improvements. The analyst will participate in building both new processes and new data products and should bring a flexible attitude toward continuous improvement. This position is hybrid 3 days per week in the office at either our Lake Forest HQ or Merchandise Mart office. You will report to the Supervisor, Customer Information. 

You Will


  • Curate and supplement customer information company-wide by executing standardized research and audit processes. Leverage insights from data patterns and trends to improve segmentation and support strategic decision-making.
  • Transform vague or loosely defined problems into clear, actionable insights by assisting with research, identifying key questions, and proposing data-informed solutions.
  • Help operations leaders define software requirements for tools that will enable scaled research processes
  • Assist in developing solutions and processes with a focus on maximizing team output and efficiency
  • Perform quantitative analysis leveraging SQL/Python – find the relevant data, transform it into a useful format, and structure the results in a consumable way
  • Communicate research outcomes to business partners with moderate guidance from leaders on how to structure presentations

You Have


  • Bachelor's Degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics or related field
  • 2+ years experience working with structured data
  • Experience building relationships with cross functional partners
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience researching and gathering data using internal and external sources
  • Experience with statistics, basic data visualization and analysis skills: SQL required, R/Python preferred
