Position Description

 

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the top integration tools available and help design new and innovative E-business integration offerings. Responsibilities include:

 

  • Designing specific components of customer electronic procurement options
  • Providing functional guidance to others.
  • Working with internal and external partners in the development of integration solutions.
  • Solving technical and/or business problems, developing alternatives, and setting standards for integration with SAP
  • and other internal and external systems
  • Participating in the planning and design cycle of business-to-business integrations
  • Applying project management standards to ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner; communicating status and escalating open/unresolved issues when necessary
  • Providing leadership and guidance to colleagues
  •  

Position Requirements:

 

Successful candidates will have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems-related area or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in document integration or related discipline.
  • Experience with IBM’s Sterling B2B Integrator middleware software, in particular the mapping tool
  • The ability to produce detailed, comprehensive software documentation, such as requirements specifications, design documentation, and change logs.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Lean framework and methodology
  • Working knowledge of EDI and xml protocol structures
  • Thorough knowledge of data processing components and methodologies.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Knowledge of integration techniques working with SAP IDOC
  • The ability to influence the design and deliverables of projects.
  • The ability to work on a highly-collaborative team consisting of both technical and business members
  • A successful track record of effectively facilitating meetings
  • A willingness to assist others with understanding technical problems and business issues.
  • A desire to pursue learning beyond the scope of current assignments.
  • The ability to communicate to all levels of the organization and present complex technical information to a nontechnical audience.
  • The ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
