Position Details:

The Business Analyst for Security Architecture serves an essential function in ensuring the daily effectiveness of the broader Security Architecture team.

Your responsibilities will be spread across the daily triage and follow up of intake requests and initiatives, and to support the Architecture team in handling some of the non-Architecture specific security requests.

You will report to the Director, Information Security and will be based in Lake Forest, IL.


You Will:

  • Provide daily coordination, reporting and follow up on company-wide engagements related to Security Architecture projects.
  • Help document security standards and agreement to applicable security controls.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and their objectives- such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, or others.
  • General understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND Frameworks preferable.
  • Serve as initial contact within Security Architecture for triage, prioritization, and alignment of inbound or outbound requests.
  • Assist in security project implementation for testing, monitoring, and reporting purposes.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of new or updated security solutions and assess impact of security controls to user experience.


You Have:

  • 2 or more years of working in an Information Security / Cybersecurity capacity
  • 2 or more years working with traditional security tools
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with cloud platform technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, O365)
  • Experience supporting and responding to third-party or external audits
  • Experience with standard business processes including Change Management, Problem Management, Work Prioritization, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement best practices
  • Security certifications (SANS GSEC, CompTIA Security+) are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related degree, or equivalent job experience
