Position Details:

As the Associate Catalog Project Manager, you will help to build a Catalog and direct mail budget of $30 million dollars. You will manage important dates in the process, and help with budgeting, invoicing, and data entry processing. This team ensures the execution of our direct mail pieces and works with both our internal shareholders and external vendors. Our vendors include the USPS, printers, paper mills, marketing fulfillment companies, and logistics companies. You will report to the Manager, Direct Mail.

 

You Will:

  • Manage the trafficking of print jobs including: communication with suppliers, working with suppliers and internal partners to get proofs approved, inputting event quantities and specs into our systems, inventory management of our catalogs and direct mail pieces with our printers, logistic companies, and marketing fulfillment partners.
  • Facilitate mail jobs: communicating mail files to our suppliers, working with our printers and logistics companies on managing the co-mail and commingle, and monitoring our USPS account to make sure it is funded and that our jobs are billed to the correct job number.
  • Continue to build knowledge to lead postal efficiencies throughout the production process.
  • Maintain data in our DM systems, and having the ability to work in many different data and program management systems.
  • Stay informed about changes in the supply chain and their impacts on our budgeting and expenses. Develop an understanding of all the costs of our programs and their impact on the revenues we are trying to reach.
  • Inventory management across our vendor platform.

 

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related Graphic Arts area
  • 3 years related work experience
  • Jaegger, Jira, SAP, and Aprimo experience
  • Knowledge of Snowflake and SQL
  • Working knowledge of desktop publishing software, i.e. InDesign
  • Understanding of imaging systems
  • Advanced knowledge level of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Strong systems background, including procurement systems
  • Experience with current postal requirements and specifications for all classes of mail, including automation discounts
  • Background in direct mail, printing, creative, and proofing.
  • Organizational skills for scheduling and planning projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Need the ability to quickly acclimate to new computer data and management system
