Position Details:
Grainger Sourcing provides a key component to our value by fulfilling customers' unmet product needs through Sourcing's network of 14k+ suppliers. As Sr. Analyst, Sourcing Strategic Programs, you will help strengthen Grainger's most valuable customer relationships by supporting the design, execution and oversight of strategic programs core to a best-in-class Sourcing organization. You will partner with stakeholders to understand needs, supporting the design and leading the implementation of strategies to improve end-to-end operations, evaluating program health and financials, and providing governance and oversight to ensure customer needs are met. You will report to the Manager, Sourcing Strategic Programs.
You Will:
- Assess existing processes and customer relationships for aligned programs to ensure operations are leading to best-in-class customer experiences and improved outcomes.
- Support the design of new end-to-end programs needed to manage and strengthen customer relationships and lead the implementation and daily execution.
- Assist in the creation of and lead the execution of program oversight and governance processes to evaluate program health and ensure strategies lead to desired outcomes.
- Build relationships at all levels throughout the organization to gain agreement around current and future program activities.
- Lead and manage projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and tools.
- Be a subject matter expert for aligned strategic programs and partner on cross-functional initiatives
- Support change management using best practice methodologies.
- Create messaging, both informal and formal to gain alignment with partners on program needs.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sciences, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years related experience in Sourcing, Supplier Management, Sales, Customer Strategy, Operations, Project/Program Management, Process Improvement, or Business/Finance or other relevant experience.
- Experience partnering with customers, suppliers, and/or sellers.
