You Will

Primary Function


  • Achieve sustainable revenue growth by negotiating, closing, implementing, and ensuring compliance to agreements with key accounts (end user and reseller). This includes initiating the relationship (new account development), developing existing accounts (account penetration), and managing accounts (maintaining and enhancing account relationships).
  • These accounts will generally have annual sales greater than $500k and potential of more than $2M.
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts with total revenue of $2-3M
  • Execute profitable growth and focusing on business that is sustainable and positions the company for the long term.


Principle Duty


  • Develop and execute an annual sales plan to meet or exceed assigned revenue goal.
  • Research, analyze and assess the business needs of each assigned account to determine how Grainger can best align itself as a product and service partner for all current and future purchasing needs.
  • Negotiate significant profitable opportunities both with new and existing key accounts.
  • Improve rate of growth with existing key accounts.
  • Develop and implement value-added programs and metrics that align the customer’s business objectives with our value proposition.
  • Work cross functionally with internal business partners to support customer business objectives and achieve revenue targets.
  • Coordinate all customer implementation activities.
  • Execute and create demand while managing your transactional customers.
  • Execute on the companies objectives and go-to-market strategies and tactics.
  • Demonstrate and effective communicator at all levels in the organization.


You Have

  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent business experience. 
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience selling a structured value proposition.
