Position Details:

Reporting to a Field Sales Manager, the Field Account Representative will determine and present the appropriate Grainger Value Proposition to each customer account.  You will review how Grainger can add value and help with each customer account's purchasing needs across a specific geography or vertical. 

You Will:

  • Maintain account and customer contact and record follow up details in Grainger's Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Take a proactive approach to increasing sales with each account while using a wide array of available communication channels in order maximize their purchasing with Grainger.
  • Achieve or exceed shared metrics of daily calls, customer face time minutes.
  • Report accurate information on overall results of customer interactions.
  • Identify opportunities, negotiate sales; manage needs and cost requirements.

You Have:

  • 1 or more years of sales building experience.
  • High School diploma or GED or 2-year degree.
  • Travel required to each customer within aligned market and may have occasional overnights depending on territory.
