Primary Function

 

The Talent Acquisition Consultant (TAC) owns full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including internal mobility and proactive sourcing. Partnering with hiring leaders and HR, the TAC builds talent pipelines, runs a structured selection process, and delivers an inclusive candidate experience from intake through offer acceptance and start.

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

Partner with HR and hiring leaders to deliver end-to-end recruiting for assigned requisitions in a matrixed environment.

  • Lead intake/calibration (scope, must-haves, success profile, compensation range, interview plan, and timeline) and define the recruiting approach for each role.
  • Build pipelines through internal mobility and external sourcing (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, Boolean search, talent communities/CRM) with a focus on diverse slates.
  • Screen and assess candidates (internal and external), present shortlists, and document evaluations clearly and consistently.
  • Manage interviews end-to-end (coordination, interviewer readiness, structured feedback, debriefs) and maintain a strong candidate experience.
  • Provide talent market insights and recommendations to improve fill outcomes (profile alignment, sourcing channels, location/comp, process adjustments).
  • Partner closely with engineering, data, product, and technology leaders to understand technical requirements and hiring priorities.
  • Develop and execute on targeted candidate generation strategies and build a diverse pipeline of talent, including directly sourcing technical talent leveraging market insights
  • Maintain knowledge of compensation offerings, benefits, salary structures and long-term incentive plans for potential candidates with the ability to analyze, recommend, develop, negotiate, present and construct closing strategies
  • Maintain accurate data in the ATS (e.g., SuccessFactors) and track/report recruiting KPIs (pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness).

 

 

Education and Experience

 

  • 1 year of full-cycle recruiting experience (intake through offer/close).
  • BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated capability in internal mobility and proactive sourcing/talent mapping, including outreach and pipeline building.
  • Proficient with ATS/CRM and sourcing tools (e.g., SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter) and comfortable using data to manage priorities and outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of employment practices, data privacy, and fair/consistent selection processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and candidate experience focus; able to manage multiple requisitions effectively.
  • Prior experience recruiting for technology roles, including software engineering, data, infrastructure, or related technical disciplines
