Primary Function

 

The Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for targeted roles – both niche/hard-to-fill roles-- as well as handling internal mobility for selected functional areas. The execution of the targeted sourcing strategies will enable the achievement of sourcing metrics and the hiring of highly qualified technical candidates. Success will be driven by this individual’s ability to network, demonstrate tenacious search ethics and display their sourcing IQ. In addition, the TAC will have a savvy understanding of organizational/ candidate fit and the ability to pitch our fantastic career opportunities that will ultimately score the talent necessary to drive our growing businesses.

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

In an advisory capacity, as Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will work with Human Resource Managers and hiring leaders in a matrixed environment to:

  • Calibrate new open positions via in-take discussions and create candidate profiles for each search
  • Help hiring managers understand the market landscape for highly sought-after skills
  • Share best practices in sourcing, new recruiting tools, and compare position profiles to identify common skill groups between positions, and improve workflow efficiency and recruiting processes
  • Partner closely with engineering, data, product, and technology leaders to understand technical requirements and hiring priorities.
  • Develop and execute on targeted candidate generation strategies and build a diverse pipeline of talent, including directly sourcing technical talent leveraging market insights
  • Maintain knowledge of compensation offerings, benefits, salary structures and long-term incentive plans for potential candidates with the ability to analyze, recommend, develop, negotiate, present and construct closing strategies

 

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Prefer experience in both staffing firms and corporate environments; also experience sourcing for remote offices
  • BA/BS degree
  • Prior experience recruiting for technology roles, including software engineering, data, infrastructure, or related technical disciplines
  • Knowledge in all sourcing components including, but not limited to, qualifying candidates, networking, job analysis, salary trends and relationship management
  • Knowledge of local regulatory compliance and local employment law preferred
  • Proficiency using common desktop applications and social media (MS Office, SuccessFactors, Linked In, etc.)
  • Strongly prefer candidates that have one of the following AIRS certificates (CIR, ACIR,C DR, CSSR, ECRE, PRC)
  • Must be self-motivated and results-driven individual who, at the same time, is able to effectively cooperate and team with HR colleagues and business partners; operates under direct supervision as an individual contributor
