PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Solutions Engineering will be responsible for design; development, testing and implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bot's that will interact with multiple systems applications. As a key member of the CI and Process Optimization Team within Sourcing, the RPA Solutions Engineer is responsible for implementing efficient systems, processes, procedures, protocol and best practices around robot's demand, forecast and inventory management per the requirements of Business Process Automation team with the creation and evolution of the RPA solution delivery framework, designing solutions, creating business objects and delivering automated processes.

 

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a process business owner and automation subject matter expert (SME).
  • Consulting internal business leaders on complex projects, leveraging business teams, IT partners and automation resources.
  • Own partnership with cross-functional business team, IT and support team to ensure consistent, beneficial internal customer interaction and solution delivery.
  • Participate and present data to business leaders during requirements and post audit reviews.
  • Lead direct efforts to define technical, operational and user requirements.
  • Responsible of leading training and onboarding of new team members of the automation team. Troubleshoot and anticipate any issues to avoid risk and reduce business impact.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in existing process and automate multiple processes using RPA software.
  • Fine tune performance and operation issues that arise with RPA Bots.
  • Provide on-going operational support including upgrades, defect fixes and any process change activities.
  • Develops system requirements, designing, testing RPA, and supporting implementation.
  • Develops and configures automation processes as per the technical design document to meet the defined requirements.
  • Advanced skills in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining application code in a variety of contexts.
  • Present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both orally and in written form.
  • Develops new processes/tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
  • Develop Process Design documents, Process Map, Risk Impact and Technical Design documents on Automation space.
  • Complies with and helps to enforce design and coding standards, policies and procedures.
  • Works collaboratively with test teams during the UAT phases to fix assigned bugs with quality.
  • Report's status, issues and risks to business leads and Automation Manager on a regular basis.
  • Take responsibility for project activities including work estimation, planning, stakeholder management and project quality.
  • Supervise the scheduling of bots and control room.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience leading workstreams.
  • 3+ years of experience leading systems projects, including ownership of project execution during the development phase.
  • 2+ years of programming experience (e.g., .NET, Java, ETL, Python, SQL).
  • Comfortable working under pressure, constructively challenging the business, and managing discussions with senior business leaders across the organization. 
     
  • Experience delivering at least one process automation using industry‑leading Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, and/or UiPath. 
     
  • Demonstrated experience in application development, including coding, testing, component design, and a solid understanding of core programming concepts. 
     
  • Ability to analyze business processes and create process flow diagrams, technical designs, and requirements documentation (e.g., using Visio). 
     
  • Strong understanding of development methodologies and the full implementation lifecycle. 
     
  • Training or hands‑on experience with RPA or test automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, OpenSpan, WinAutomation). 
     
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Excel, Visio, Access, and Word. 
     
  • Strong requirements‑gathering and analytical skills, with a structured, methodical approach and an inquisitive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
     
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (e.g., Visio and PowerPoint). 
     
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities, demonstrating sound judgment.
