- Design and operationalize a model (process, tools, and governance) rooted in continuous improvement principles by instituting project management best practices by using PDCA (Plan, Do, Check and Adjust) or relevant methodology.
- Use analytics and cross-functional collaboration to quickly understand and improve Sourcing and procurement processes.
- Provide expertise and oversight to partners during the initiation, planning, implementation, and control phases of project work. Work with partners, subject matter experts, and different levels of leaders across the organization to advance project goals
- Develop baselines for metrics and assist teams in identifying goals and action plans to improve metrics.
- Test new and better ways to solve problems using relevant Continuous Improvement/Lean tools and principles.
- Prioritize work, guide targeted progress, anticipate and remove barriers, and communicate clear project status to multiple levels.
- Use analytics and judgment to identify, prioritize and solve complex business problems with recommendations to leadership considering upstream and downstream impacts, risks and data
- Identify opportunities for improvement in sourcing operations and automate processes using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA); maintain and enhance existing automated solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years Experience in continuous improvement, project management, internal consulting, or related experience Preferred
- 3+ years Experience working with data warehousing systems (e.g., Teradata, Snowflake, SQL) and ERP platforms such as SAP. Preferred
- 2+ years Developing and maintaining performance dashboards and KPIs to monitor sourcing process efficiency and identify improvement opportunities; Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in tools such as Power BI and Excel. Preferred
- Required:
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, including SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, PowerApps, and Microsoft Excel. (Advanced proficiency)
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders; data storytelling and visualization. (Intermediate proficiency)
- Proficiency in process documentation and workflow mapping using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar. (Intermediate proficiency)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights (Advanced proficiency)
- Proven ability to lead and support cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives, applying structured problem-solving and process optimization techniques. (Advanced proficiency)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across sourcing and related functions. (Intermediate proficiency)
