Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $71,800.00  to $119,600.00.

Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.

Position Details:

The Talent Acquisition Consultant serves as a key partner in driving recruitment excellence and delivering an exceptional candidate experience within Grainger Technology Group. The role oversees onsite interviews, manages complex scheduling, and collaborates closely with hiring leaders to align talent strategies with business objectives. The consultant helps design innovative sourcing approaches, build robust talent pipelines, and lead full-cycle recruitment for diverse roles across the organization. Additionally, the position provides guidance on market trends and compensation, negotiates competitive offers, and champions best practices to attract and retain top talent. This role is based at Grainger’s Chicago office in the Merchandise Mart, with occasional travel to our Lake Forest headquarters as needed 

 

You Will:

  • Facilitate onsite interviews by managing all logistics and ensuring a professional, seamless experience that reflects the organization’s commitment to candidate care.
  • Coordinate complex interview panels by aligning multiple calendars, preparing participants, and resolving scheduling conflicts to enable timely and informed hiring decisions.
  • Implement creative sourcing strategies and build robust talent pipelines by leveraging multiple channels and networking efforts to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Conduct thorough intake discussions and manage recruitment for high-volume, less complex roles, applying best practices to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide actionable market insights and negotiate competitive offers, balancing candidate expectations with organizational goals to secure top talent and strengthen workforce capability.

 

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition coordination, including scheduling interviews and facilitating onsite interview processes.
  • Proficiency using an Applicant Tracking System and common desktop applications.
  • Experience in both staffing firms and corporate environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of local regulatory compliance and local employment law preferred.
