Position Details:

You will work in a complex B2B E-commerce environment and gain experience with feature delivery, and enhancements. Our mobile team is looking for a Full Stack engineer to enhance our Android experience and align to our modernization roadmap .

The Senior Engineer is involved in the full systems life cycle and responsible for designing, coding, configuring, testing, and implementing application software that are delivered on time and within budget.

You Will:

  • Work with other engineers, our business and UX partners to bring features and enhancements for our customers
  • Focus on improving software quality, establishing and following best practices, tools, and new techniques within the mobile team
  • Work on all aspects of mobile application delivery lifecycle from conception to release

You can be based in either downtown Chicago or Lake Forest, Illinois and will report to the Manager, Mobile Applications.

You Have:

  • 6+ years developing native apps for Android ; Objective-C, experience developing backend services in Swift
  • Experience conceptualizing, building application features geared towards a B2B or B2C customer.
  • Cloud relevant (AWS, GCP, Azure) for building backend capabilities and services for the mobile apps to consume
  • Key Technologies / Framework: Swift, Objective C, CICD tools (Git, Circle-CI, Fastlane), cloud relevant (AWS, GCP, Azure) backend services..
  • Familiar with core Android principles, design patterns, and Android human Interface guidelines
  • Working knowledge of implementing 3rd party frameworks
  • Experienced with Agile development methodologies and practices including unit testing and automated testing tools and techniques
  • Proficient in CI/CD practices within a team setting (Git, Fastlane, Circle-Ci)
