Position Description

This position is responsible for establishing and tracking project KPIs, testing site changes, and analyzing both operational business issues and technical data issues. 

- Function as a subject matter expert on web analytics data.
- Establish meaningful financial and operational metrics that are informative, actionable, and aligned to business goals
- Develop, distribute and maintain accurate and timely reporting utilizing a variety of analytics tools and data sources
- Work with Product Managers to understand project goals, develop measurement plans, and establish reporting framework
- Define clear, measureable site optimization test outcomes and KPIs, configure reports and dashboards to monitor test progress, analyze results, and communicate outcomes and recommendations
- Monitor site performance and communicate data anomalies to stakeholders.
- Partner with Analytics Operations to troubleshoot analytics bugs, resolve data issues and perform root cause analysis

This position will help the business evaluate and optimize the performance of the digital channels and measure the value of site development work.

Position Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, finance, marketing, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in digital analytics, preferably in a retail or B2B environment

- Extensive experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, with a strong familiarity of variables, segmentation, and UI.

- Experience debugging analytics implementations with developer console or browser plugins.

- Experience with SQL highly preferred. 
- Experience with reporting tools such as Business Objects or Tableau, and data analysis software such as SPSS or R preferred

- Familiarity with A/B testing and optimization tools such as Adobe Target
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity and business acumen
- A passion for analytics and solving problems with data
- Ability to work independently and develop strong relationships with business partners.
