The Sr. Operations Analyst, Supplier Lifecycle leads and works for end-to-end execution of contracts and essential lifecycle activities with Grainger's suppliers as well as business essential strategic projects. They serve as an expert in outstanding processes to promote industry-leading procurement and function as a specialist for the team with a continuous-improvement mindset to help determine standards and processes. You will report to the Manager, Supplier Contract Management.

You Will:

  • Manage supplier agreement letters and amendments ensuring compliance
  • Process supplier onboarding, maintenance, and discontinuation requests
  • Manage and continuously improve upon global processes to maximize effectiveness and ensure proper connectivity and accountability of partners.
  • Manage continuous improvement, implementation of process changes and measurement of the effectiveness of assigned processes.
  • Ensure that improvements are customer-focused and aligned with the organization's strategic direction and goals.
  • Establish success metrics and deliverables
  • Be the primary contact for Legal, Supplier Management, and other partners and coordinate participation in the production of standard work and the development of process improvements.
  • Promote both cultural and procedural changes across a global organization and supply base.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Operations Management, or Logistics Management

  • Business and Financial Knowledge – knowledge and application of business strategies; evaluate costs/benefits of varying options
  • Systems Proficiency - SAP, BW, Teradata, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word and Access
