Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $131,200.00 to $218,700.00.

Position Details:
We are looking for product managers to help guide and chart a course for Grainger's enterprise systems and application development so that Grainger continues to be the destination for "the ones that get it done". The Senior Product Manager contributes to the product strategy, vision, and roadmap of future products, with high degree of ownership over critical features and the customer experience. You will work with engineering, design, and operations to develop and launch innovative aspects of a product. You are creative and highly analytical, able to work in a matrix organization, can synthesize a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers love. You will report to the Director, Product Management and will work on a hybrid basis out of our Chicago, IL office.
You Will:
- Expand the North America eCommerce platform by enhancing Grainger’s digital publishing capabilities to enable scalable operations and a seamless customer experience across U.S. and Canadian markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalize integrated publishing workflows and tools within the North America eCommerce platform, ensuring readiness for regional scalability and future enhancements.
- Leverage data-driven insights to develop business strategies and actionable recommendations that drive competitive advantage for Grainger, focusing on customer needs, market trends, and operational efficiencies.
- Identify and prioritize customer and internal team requirements, translating them into a clear product roadmap and detailed specifications that guide the development and evolution of the eCommerce platform.
- Lead team of engineers through structured work, provide ample business context and establish shared ownership of outcomes.
- Lead, communicate & coordinate product launches across all partners including business, product and engineering teams with consideration of schedule, risk management, escalation of issues and balances tradeoffs.
- Facilitate product review discussions with C-Suite executives, landing the appropriate message for the audience.
- Partner with the analytics, UX, peer PMs and operational business leaders to deliver quality capabilities in a consistent cadence of releases and measure the business impact.
You Have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree preferred
- 7+ years experience as a product manager or related occupation. Experience must involve directing agile sprint team, working with design, analytics and business stakeholders and include demonstration of superior process design skills and delivering working software.
- Demonstrated experience designing solutions to complex problems and delivering results by conceptualizing, building, or substantially modifying enterprise internal tools & external website preferably geared towards a B2B customer.
- Continuous improvement and innovation mindset that results in the understanding of latest technologies.
- Guide team members to accomplish outcomes.
- Ability to function with ambiguity and within a matrix organization and operate on a tight schedule.
- Problem solving & planning capabilities along with creative time management skills, high degree of ownership and help impact teams to act with urgency.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions when developing & presenting business cases to executive leadership and stakeholders.
