Purpose:

This position is responsible for analyzing the customer experience in digital channels to understand what features and functionality drive value for the business.

 

Responsibilities:

 

-Inform digital strategy, website development and digital technology investments through analytics and data science

-Work closely with business partners to uncover powerful insights from a variety of big data sources using advanced tools, methodologies and algorithms

- Utilize online and offline data to understand digital performance in context of the overall business
- Profile and segment digital customers. Analyze purchase behavior and functionality usage through digital channels
- Analyze opportunities and customer trends in the digital marketplace
- Seek to drive profitable investments through the unbiased evaluation of financial impact of technology investments
- Assist in promoting a perspective on investment measurement

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (analytics, predictive analytics, data science, math, statistics, economics, machine learning etc.). Advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years industry experience with strong business acumen, preferably with an understanding of online customer behavior in the retail industry. B2B experience is a plus
- Experience in statistical modeling and machine learning (regression, time series analysis, clustering, etc.), as well as manipulation of large datasets using tools such as Python, SQL, R, SAS, SPSS etc.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity and business acumen
- Proven record of executing analyses to inform business strategy
