Primary Function:

The Process Management Analyst leads/oversees select functions which support the daily productivity and profitability of the Grainger product portfolio. The role is responsible for consistent execution of departmental processes while ensuring their standardization, optimization, and continued review for improvement.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

•          Serve as subject matter expert for best in class processes, and enable customers to meet strategic purchasing needs through cross-category portfolios

o          Manage processes to meet regulatory and/or stakeholder considerations

o          Collaborate with business partners across functions to support business priorities

•          Execute and deliver on standard processes within defined service level agreements

•          Establish and regularly evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement

•          Responsible for analyzing and interpreting meaningful patterns to enable decision making with simple, visible metrics

•          Embraces curiosity to identify problems and possible solutions and takes appropriate action to resolve

•          Delivers decisions and recommendations primarily specific to location/ department

 

Preferred Education & Experience:

•          BA/BS or equivalent preferred

•          3-5 years of experience in related field preferred

Position can be based in Lake Forest or Chicago post pandemic
