Lead an operations group, within the product team, in the process development of: the product portfolio strategy; collection and maintenance of product information; supplier performance/metrics. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Merchandising and Supplier Management Operations

You Will

The Manager, Product Transition Management:

  • Develop and execute a fluid design and roadmap for a comprehensive product transition program that includes communication of change to a broad partner audience
  • Develop partner relationships at levels of the organization to gain executional agreement around product transitions through the program
  • Manage the transition of the assortment to core and non-core product offers within the portfolio including Customer Specific Skus, Sourcing, Zoro product transitions and other partner product transitions
  • Develop communications to make sure any transition is well understood and the customer experience managed
  • Promote changes to process across the GPM and partner organizations and supply base
  • Maintain channels across all partners.

You manage a team to:

  • Create both the analytics, capabilities and tools required for the Product Transition Management program using a across many partners
  • Execute the product transition plans for Core and Non-Core products including Customer Specific Skus
  • Develop measures of overall program effectiveness across the Core and Non-Core assortment
  • Be the driver of participation and compliance with the Product Transition Management program
  • Seek feedback from partners and recommend/makes adjustments to the program

You Have

  • BS/BA required.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain or product / supplier management
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management
