Position Details:

You will oversee multi-channel (desktop, mobile, print) search and related optimization efforts. Manage a dedicated team of Onsite Search Analysts. Manage all onsite search-related metrics and Key Performance Indicators and team member development and effectiveness in role. Build strategic relationships with teams from the Technology, Enterprise Systems, Merchandising, Marketing, and Finance departments.

You will report to the Senior Director, MSM Enablement & Search.


You Will:

You will primarily manage the Onsite Search team. Additional responsibilities include:

  •  Accountable for meeting onsite search performance metrics such as search-to-cart percentage, null percentage, search-related customer satisfaction, and other search-related metrics
  • Direct management responsibility of a dedicated team of Onsite Search Analysts
  • Work with the Merchandising, Publishing, Product Information, and Technology teams in the prioritization of all search enhancements and plans. Ensure that the Search Team's requirements for delivering an outstanding product search experience are prioritized & sequenced
  • Prioritize and standardize all search optimization efforts, including the review and classification of top searches, null searches, and search feedback
  • Create and improve the search term strategy for products across all channels, with a focus on digital
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and communication of all onsite search performance metrics
  • Identify and evaluate essential third-party onsite search vendors


You Have:

  • Preferred 5+ years of experience in large data-focused organizations with complex processes and systems
  • MA/MS/MBA or equivalent
  • 7+ years of eCommerce experience
  • 3+ years of direct management experience preferred
  • Experience with Product Information Management systems and methodologies
  • Experience in software development plans
  • Expertise in analysis, including web analytics
  • Ability to translate detailed technical information to easily understood concepts and actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and ensure alignment with cross functional stakeholders
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into tactical actions
  • Experience managing relationships with vendors and external partners
