Position Details:
You will drive incremental e-commerce and digital sales with international strategic resellers and marketplaces.
These reseller and marketplace Opportunities will generally represent sales opportunities greater than $1M in potential sales growth. Responsible for the identification, evaluation, development and management of digital channel partner relationships. Collaborates with internal business partners to execute a strategic sales process for uncovering new digital business opportunities and developing and maintaining an adequate pipeline of potential sales to meet digital global export expectations.
You Will:
· Develop and implement sales programs and plans for the strategic reseller offering and international marketplaces to drive company sales objectives.
· Provide functional direction and personal involvement to support the Field in the planning, reach and barrier removal within customer sites.
· Improve and maintain rate of growth with existing reseller accounts and develop new - strategies with targeted accounts and customer segments.
· Evaluate, negotiate and direct the development, maintenance, or discontinuation of reseller agreements through the contract renewal process.
· Negotiate profitable opportunities with existing strategic resellers for Grainger Industrial supply.
· Develop and implement value-added programs and measurements that align the customer’s our goals with Grainger’s value proposition and customer initiatives.
· Provide visible leadership and facilitation of the sales management process to create improved revenues and earnings
· Provide leadership in change management methodology within the company and throughout the customer’s organization.
· Create and manage strong relationship plan with internal partners.
· Work/lead cross functional teams to review product and service needs across our customers.
You Have:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, Operations or Management or equivalent work experience required.
· 5+ years of business experience to include 1+ years of digital business development experience (Channel related experience preferred).
· Demonstrated project management skills.
· Financial acumen/ ability to manage budgets and understand financial models.
· Ability to operate in matrix-managed environment (directing and coordinating others outside department).
· Proven experience in identifying, negotiating, structuring, competing and implementing digital joint partnership agreements.
· International experience ideal
· Experience with SAP
