Compensation:
This position is hourly, and the starting pay rate is $15.81/hour

Position Details:
The Expeditor, Order Management is responsible for all assigned duties including but not limited to; maintaining/updating current expected ship dates, receipts corrections/adjustments, large order processing, and follow-up for all Vendors. They provide information and support to allow multiple cross functional teams impacted by Past Due Purchase Orders, GRIR issues and Large Order processing to deliver a better service promise.
The Expeditor is the key contact for Sellers, Customer Service and DC teams. This role will work all supplier issues, including past dues line follow-up, DC receipts and/or proactively work potential past due POs, providing assistance to internal customers to resolve short term
(transactional) issues in a timely manner. They will also escalate longer-term root cause issues once identified to their supervisor or associated Supplier Performance Analyst to resolve these systemic or vendor specific issues in a timely manner to increase total availability and drive sales.
You Will:
- Maintain or correct STOs, Inbound Receipts, and Large Orders as needed.
- Identify problem PO lines that have gone beyond the requested ship date and determine appropriate action
- Contact suppliers to determine cause of delays, update information by revising data in SAP for other users and keep record of all communications within the Sales Order.
- Coordinate with Supervisor or associated Supplier Performance Analyst to escalate complex issues
- Work with DC Operations and AP teams to quickly resolve inbound receipt issues and provide actionable information to drive long term solutions.
- Work with Customer Service to provide value in Large Order processing to avoid availability issues and save handling and shipping cost by shipping direct when possible to Customer.
- Work to find process improvements and drive best practices behavior with Customer Service teams.
- Works closely with his/her corresponding team of Expeditors, Supply Chain Analyst, Compliance Specialist, and SPAs for assigned vendors.
- Collaborates with supplier contacts at all levels to drive improvement in Delivery and Transactional Quality Performance. Key contacts include Supplier Performance Analysts, and Customer Service/Branches.
You Have:
- High School Diploma, college Degree, college courses, or equivalent work-related experience, with a Bachelor Degree or the equivalent a plus.
- 3-5 years of general business experience with a background in distribution, warehousing, or transportation a plus.
- American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) CPIM Certification is preferred but not required. Some APICS classes a plus.
- Must be personal computer (PC) literate and have a basic understanding of the concepts and be proficient in the use of Outlook and Microsoft Office spreadsheets and presentation software.
- Must have excellent communication skills to convey essential information clearly and concisely, both written and verbal, and must utilize active listening skills while sharing that information.
- Effective time-management and organizational skills are required to be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently while still meeting deadlines. Working with a sense of urgency is a must.
- Must be self-directed on a daily basis, take responsibility to complete tasks, and make decisions within prescribed guidelines without direct instruction.
- Must also be able to identify problems as encountered and make quick decisions to determine corrective action, including rationing out problems that require additional support or assistance.
- Must be able to maintain a professional attitude at all times, particularly when dealing with people in complex and stressful situations
- Exposure to SAP desirable.
